Greatness: Noun – the quality of being great, distinguished, or eminent. Synonyms: eminence, distinction, illustrious, repute, high standing, important, significance, prominence, renown.
Earned: Verb (past tense) – gain or incur deservedly in return for one’s behavior or achievements. Synonyms: deserve, merit, warrant, justify, and be worthy of, gain, win, secure, establish, obtain, procure, get, acquire.
Greatness cannot be reached unless you take a chance. At CIA we strive to be great every day. Our goal is to help each wrestler become the best they can be. Every person is different and every person has different goals. The one goal that should be the same for every wrestler who trains with us is Greatness. We not only want each wrestler to achieve this on the mat, but in life as well.
Every person who has reached the pinnacle in their profession or sport faced failure prior to succeeding. Failure is a part of striving for more. The ones who become great push through every failure and speed bump that comes along. If you think about failing that is exactly what will happen. In order to become great you must ignore all doubt and know you will succeed. Embrace every challenge and take them on with your chest out and head held high. Believe in yourself, your abilities, and work for what you want in this life. If you do this, at the end of the day you will be saying #GreatnessIsEarned!!!
